ITINERARY

Day 01: Arrival in Leh and Transfer to Sham Valley (70 Kms / 3-4 hrs)

Upon your arrival at Leh airport, you will be promptly transferred to the enchanting Sham Valley, meandering through picturesque villages along the Indus River. Once you reach Sham Valley, check in to your pre-booked accommodation, where you can relax and rejuvenate. Enjoy an overnight stay in Sham.
Day 02: Exploration of Aryan Valley – Dha and Hanu – Return to Sham

After a hearty breakfast, embark on an intriguing journey to Aryan Valley via Khaltse. Depart from the Srinagar highway and follow the course of the Indus River until you reach Achinathang. From there, continue your drive to Beema village, where you will have the opportunity to explore monasteries and the unique villages of Dah-Beema, inhabited by the Drokpa people. Engage with the locals, gaining insights into their daily lives and the adaptations crucial to their seasonal lifestyle. The Drokpa people, with their pure Indo-Aryan descent, uphold their racial purity and distinct cultural characteristics. Return to Sham, making an enroute visit to Lamayuru Monastery and Moonland. Arrive in Sham by evening for an overnight stay.
Day 03: Sham to Leh (70 Kms | 3-4 hrs approx.)

After a delicious breakfast, embark on a scenic drive back to Leh, with stops at Alchi Monastery, Sangam (the confluence of rivers), Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and the Hall of Fame along the way. Arrive in Leh by afternoon. Later in the day, visit the serene Shanti Stupa and explore Leh Market. Enjoy an overnight stay in Leh.
Day 04: Leh to Hunder in Nubra Valley (128 Kms | 4-5 hrs approx)

After a hearty breakfast, set off on a mesmerizing journey to Nubra Valley via the world-famous Khardungla Pass, which stands as the second highest motorable road globally at 18,380 feet. Along the way, take short breaks at charming roadside cafes and scenic viewpoints for memorable photography opportunities. Upon reaching Hunder, check in to your hotel or camp. After a satisfying lunch, indulge in a camel safari, riding the unique double-humped camels found only in Ladakh and Mongolia. Spend the night in Nubra Valley, surrounded by its breathtaking beauty.
Day 05: Excursion to Thang – Turtuk from Hunder (170 Kms | 5-6 hrs approx.)

Following breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Turtuk, a village that was first opened to tourists in 2010. This village has a rich history, as it was captured by the Indian Army during the Indo-Pak war of 1971. On the way, you can also visit Tyakshi, a border area that divides India and Pakistan. Return to Nubra Valley for an overnight stay.
Day 06: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok River Road (150 Kms | 6-7 Hrs approx)

After breakfast, continue your adventurous journey to the breathtaking Pangong Lake, situated at an elevation of 14,500 feet. The drive will take approximately 6-7 hours. Upon reaching the campsite, you’ll have leisure time to appreciate the ever-changing colors of the lake and witness a mesmerizing sunset by its banks. Spend the night at Pangong Lake, surrounded by the serene beauty of nature.
Day 07: Pangong Lake to Leh (140 Kms | 4-5 hrs approx)

Begin your day with a picturesque sunrise over Pangong Lake. After breakfast, drive back to Leh, with stops to visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace en route. Enjoy an overnight stay in Leh.
Day 08: Departure from Leh Airport to Delhi (4 Kms | 15 minutes approx)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Leh airport for your flight back to your destination, marking the end of your remarkable journey.

weather, health issues, roadblocks, or factors beyond control.
The cost cannot be combined with any other package.

Other Charges

Innova Charges: Rs. 45,318 per Innova.
River Rafting on Indus and Zanskar River: INR 1000-2500 Per Person.
Oxygen Cylinder: Rs. 700 per day.

Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policy

A 50% payment is required at the time of booking confirmation, with the balance to be
paid 15 days before the tour begins.
Overland Escape is not responsible for roadblocks, flight cancellations, or unforeseen
situations during the tour.
Children aged 5-8 years will be considered without bed charges (no bed/extra mattress
provided), while children above 8 years will be considered as requiring an extra bed (extra
mattress provided).

Cancellation Charges

25% cancellation charges if canceled 30 days before the tour departure date.
50% cancellation charges if canceled 20 days before the tour departure date.
75% cancellation charges if canceled 15 days before the tour departure date.
No refund for cancellations made within 15 days of the departure date.
No refund after the start or middle of the tour.
Flight ticket cancellations as per airline terms and conditions.

Inner Line Permit

Clients require Inner Line permits to visit restricted areas like Pangong Lake and Nubra.
Permits will be arranged by us from the District Magistrate’s office, requiring the original photo ID proof (passport, driving license, or Election ID).
Permit costs include Red Cross society fees, Wildlife fees, and Environmental fees.
The District Magistrate’s office in Leh cannot issue permits to nationalities from Bangladesh, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, People’s Republic of China, Taiwan, Afghanistan, and holders of Diplomatic and Official passports and visas. These nationalities and Diplomatic/Official passport holders can obtain permits from the Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, through their respective Embassies.
